The Second City


Founded in 1959, The Second City is a comedy institution that has trained some of the biggest names in entertainment. The Second City pioneered the art improvisational comedy, and its alumni include comedy legends such as John Belushi, Bill Murray, Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert.

The Second City has established itself as a must-visit destination for anyone who enjoys comedy. Its Old Town complex contains theaters that host nightly shows featuring a mix of sketch comedy and improvisation, with a focus on current events and social issues.
